Just to note, although we are officially in the Fall season, we are still having some hot days in Southern California - thus I haven't started wearing foundation yet. So, I guess you could still call this my Summer daily makeup routine.
First Step - Eye Primer (NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base)
Second Step - MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
So, I know this seems redundant to put a primer on, then the Paint Pot, but for me its kind of like a second defense to letting anything crease or slide. With these two defenses, it definitely helps me not look like a raccoon at the end of the day.
Third Step - MAC Red Brick eyeshadow, then Urban Decay Buck eyeshadow

I use a fluffy brush to apply the Red Brick first. I concentrate it on the right of the outside of my eye. Then, I spread it lightly above the right above the crease. I then take Urban Decay's Buck eyeshadow (from the Naked palette). This goes right under and also over the Red Brick color. I then sweep it right in the crease.
Take a blending brush and blend! You have to be careful about this, because you don't want the colors to blend too much and become a muddy mess. This does take some practice, but of course, practice makes perfect!
Fourth Step - MAC Black Black Cream Color

I line my eyes with MAC's Black Black. If I have time, I will also apply Black Black to a pencil and tightline my upper eyelid.
Fifth Step - Stila All Day Liquid Waterproof Eye Liner

So, I know many of you may find this redundant, but I line Stila All Day Waterproof EyeLiner over my MAC Black Black Cream Liner. For me, the cream liner is more of a nice base, and the Stila liner is a great all day liner that just sharpens and darkens the line. Without it I don't feel as if my eyes are as defined.
Sixth Step - Curl Eyelashes w/ Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

Curl those lashes! :) If I'm not lazy, sometimes I will put a pair of falsies on.
Seventh Step: Mascara! - d.j.v. beautenizer & YSL Faux Cils

I begin with d.j.v beautenizer mascara. This mascara is a drier formula so that's why I use it first. Its kinda nice because it adds volume and thickness. I then use my YSL Faux Cils mascara and this does a nice job of lengthening and thickening too.Step Eight! - Blush - MAC Melba & Bronzer - MAC Refined Golden

These are my favorites for blush and bronzer :)If I have acne, I'll typically use MAC concealer to cover those up and a mineral powder to cover my face, but if my face is clear, I won't even use these. In the summer, I try not to cover my face too much. My routine will change face wise when the weather gets cold, which hopefully happens sooner than later! I will update with a new post on my updated routine when that happens! Hope you enjoyed this post.
